We teach sailing where sailing is worth learning.
Worldwide Sail runs 7-day Phuket mile builders aboard Bavaria 46 and longer international passages aboard Seraph, alongside private charters, expeditions and formal RYA training through our partner network.
Everything we do happens on real voyages. There are no simulators, no oversized classes and no scripted itineraries — only weather, tide, a chart and a crew who becomes capable by the end of the week.

Seraph is our own classic wooden yacht, rebuilt plank by plank and rigged for serious sailing. She is the reason our students learn faster, our charter guests stay longer at the rail, and our expeditions feel like something out of another century.

Sailing in Phuket, Thailand

Worldwide Sail operates from Yacht Haven Marina, Laem Phrao, in the north of Phuket — the gateway to Phang Nga Bay, Koh Yao, Krabi, Koh Lanta and the Similan Islands. Miles building, private yacht charters and sailing expeditions run through the November–April northeast monsoon season.
Where do you sail from in Phuket?
Yacht Haven Marina, Laem Phrao, Phuket 83110 — north of the island, close to Phang Nga Bay and about 20 minutes from Phuket International Airport.
When is the sailing season in Thailand?
The Andaman Sea season runs from November to April, with the most settled conditions from December to March.
Do Thai sea miles count towards RYA Yachtmaster?
Yes. The RYA does not restrict qualifying miles to the UK or Europe, and Thailand's west coast is tidal.
Can I charter a private yacht in Phuket?
Yes — day sails, sunset cruises and multi-day private charters aboard Seraph with a professional crew.
